Around the World in 8 Books!

In May, we’ll begin our Around the World in 8 Books travel club, which will be a book club for Teens and Adults.

Each month, the library will display books that take place in a certain region around the world. You will select a book from that display, or if you know of a book that takes place in our featured region, you’re welcome to read that instead.

After you read your book, we’ll all meet up and discuss the differences from that region to our own. We’ll try a recipe or two from that area of the world, and maybe do a craft or other activity that is common in that region. For some regions, we will have a guest speaker that is familiar with that area of the world!

What we need help with, is picking a date and time to have our monthly meetings! Use the survey below to select your availability to help us know when to schedule our book club meetings.
