Employee Spotlight: LeAnn!

Hello! I’m LeAnn. I started working at the library part time in 2002 and became full time in 2004. I’ve always enjoyed going to the library. I remember when it was next to the police station on Springfield St (where the old city hall was.) Around that time, I got one of my best birthday presents – a book: “The Bobbsey Twins – the secret of candy castle.” (Here’s a photo of me, reading the book!)

In my free time, I enjoy walking at the park or playing tennis with my friend, Anne. I like to read, watch TV while snuggling with my cats, and I’m struggling to learn crochet.
Some of my favorite books are the Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, anything with Star Trek or Star Wars. I’m also known for my love of the color blue, wearing baseball caps, and vests.
