March Updates and Newsletter

Posted on March 15, 2021

We’ve got lots of big news for this month. On March 14, 2021, the Carroll County Libraries are moving into Phase 3 of our reopening plan. You can read about it below. In short, this means there will be less restrictions on the number of people in the library, and the amount of time you can spend in the building. Masks are still a state mandate for now, so masks are still required. This also means we’ll be able to begin offering limited programs again, so be sure to stay tuned for that!

The next update we have is our March/April Newsletter. We’re still continuing our Reading Challenge, and we’re preparing for Summer events. Our new pavilion outside is finished and we’re getting a wifi extender so you’ll be able to access the internet from the shade. We’ll be hosting more and more events outdoors as the warmer weather arrives. Click below to read our newsletter.

We’ve also decided to name our pavilion the Wesley Martin Memorial Pavilion in honor of our employee Tammy’s son. We’ll be getting a sign as soon as possible.
